After our first edition of the Investigación En Foco photography competition, we are delighted to announce an open call for the second edition.
It is open from the 6th of April to the 15th of June of 2021.
This competition aims to reinforce the need and beauty of our daily research in all fields through images and to make it more accessible to a broad audience. It represents a unique opportunity for SRUK researchers to capture their work and share it differently.
The competition is for SRUK members and SRUK friends to submit a single photograph with a clear research theme. The photographs will be evaluated in three different categories: originality, technique, and research communication.
The 12 shortlisted photographs (4 from each category) will be selected by an external panel of experts. They will be displayed on the Investigación en Foco website, and they will be used to produce a 2022 calendar.
There will be 4 prizes of £100 each. 3 for the winners of each of the categories (selected by the external panel of experts) and one for the winner selected by SRUK members and friends (e-vote).
