Investigación En Foco

Investigación en Foco is a photography contest that aims to reinforce the importance and beauty of our daily research through photography, and make it more accessible to the general public. This contest represents a unique opportunity for the SRUK/CERU community to capture their work and share it in a different way.

Who can participate?

This photography contest is open to all SRUK/CERU regular members as well as SRUK/CERU associate members and SRUK/CERU friends who wish to capture the beauty of their work related to any field of research.

4 prizes in different categories!

There are 4 prizes you can win! Three of those are chosen by the Panel of Experts, and belong to the following categories: originality, technique and research communication outside the lab. The fourth prize is delivered to the most voted photograph (among the 12 finalists) by all SRUK/CERU regular members. Winners will also be invited to participate in the SRUK/CERU International Symposium.

The 12 finalist photographs are published on the Investigación En Foco website and used to create the annual SRUK/CERU calendar!

Expert Science communicators, photographers, and researchers evaluate and award the photographs in each edition.
