We are delighted to announce that this year’s winner of the SRUK Emerging Talent Award, with the support of Banco Santander Foundation, is Dr. Xavier Moya, researcher at the University of Cambridge.
Dr. Xavier Moya’s outstanding research has made ground breaking contributions to his field, Materials Science, and to the development of new eco-friendly alternatives to current cooling systems.
Dr. Moya will use the prize to build a breakthrough experimental system that will allow him and his team to measure the caloric effects of new materials used in cooling systems. This system will be the first of its kind in the world and will allow the study of new materials with potential commercial applications.
