Comms Manager of the Oxford Constituency
I graduated in Biochemistry at The University of Navarra in 2014. During my undergraduate I classified for the Research Training Program in Biochemistry and Biomedicine and I did my final year in The University of Hong Kong in an exchange program. In 2015, I obtained an MSc in Clinical Embryology at The University of Oxford. In 2019, I successfully obtained my DPhil (PhD) on Women’s and Reproductive Health also at Oxford University. My DPhil project investigated the role of seminal fluid extracellular vesicles in human endometrial receptivity. This project was possible thanks to the Rafael del Pino Postgraduate Scholarship and the Gustav Born Scholarship in Biomedical Sciences. Afterwards, I worked in the same department as a postdoctoral research assistant in the OxWATCH project in collaboration with the Cardiovascular Clinical Research Facility. Currently, I am a postdoctoral research scientist at Sarah de Val’s lab at the Department of Physiology, Anatomy, and Genetics, Oxford University. I am investigating the role of NFAT transcription factors in vasculature development during embryogenesis. I became part of the Working Group of the Oxford Constituency of SRUK/CERU in July 2019 and of the SRUK/CERU Press department in January 2020.
