I am a PhD student in the Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering Department at UCL, where my research focuses on Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT). I moved to the UK in 2019 to study Physics and Mathematics at the University of Manchester, where I also had the privilege of serving as President of the Nuclear and Particle Physics Society. Having grown up in Spain but doing all of my academic studies in the UK has given me a perspective shaped by both research cultures and by the opportunities that stronger international links can create. This is what first drew me to science policy, and especially to work that can support collaboration and researcher mobility between Spain and the UK. I joined SRUK/CERU two years ago, and I have since been involved in the London Constituency Working Group and (now) the Science Policy Department.
