Moisés Fernández-Cano is a historian of sexuality whose work traces the evolution of sexual dissidence across the twentieth century, from everyday life under Francoism to the global history of HIV/AIDS. He is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Stirling, researching activist networks and the memory of HIV/AIDS in Spain and Argentina. He holds a PhD from the European University Institute (2024) and has held visiting positions in Toronto, Berlin, and Buenos Aires. His forthcoming book, Cruising the Dictatorship: Queer Intimacies in Francoist Madrid, will be published by Manchester University Press. He is co-founder and president of MariCorners and Director of SRUK/CERU’s LGBTIQ+ Committee.
