Involvement in SRUK/CERU

Cristina Gallego Páramo is a doctor in biophysics with an artistic streak. Her doctoral work in Madrid (CSIC) focused on the study of the structure and properties of proteins that can be used as antibiotics. She moved to UK in 2018, where she has been working with cell division proteins in the Universities of Edinburgh and Newcastle. Upon her arrival, she also joined the SRUK Scotland working group, collaborating with illustrations, logo designs, and posters for public engagement events and initiatives, aiming to help with her graphic design skills to create more impact in science communication.
