What do you need to do?
If you would like our SRUK/CERU Team of Volunteers to help spread the good news, you will need to go through the following steps:
- You need to contact us at [email protected] before your article is published (please let us know the publication date in your message), ideally two weeks before the embargo is lifted. Please bear in mind that we are a Team of Volunteers and need to know well in advance key dates to organise ourselves. To this end, we will not be able to work with short notice or last minute requests.
- If you would like us to reach out to media based in your home town, please let us know where you are originally from. Otherwise, we will just share it with our current media contacts. We can help you translate your press release in Spanish if need be!
- Once the embargo is lifted and your article published, we shall send your press release to our media contacts and publish it under our “Announcements” section.
- During the following week, we will be checking whether your press release has been published by any of the media we contacted. We shall get back to you with relevant details if that is the case!
- If you would like to write a lay summary of your research, you could be featured as our next research highlight! In your message to [email protected], please state your interest and attach a draft of the lay summary you would like our Team of Volunteers to review and include in our “Research Highlights” section. You can read our previous posts in this section so that you can get some inspiration to start drafting your lay summary!
