How many times have you asked yourself the importance to transmit your research and engage your family and friends? Here you have the opportunity to learn it!

“Investigación en Foco” committee delight to present a workshop “From images to science stories” offered by Big Van Science, a non-profit organization that aims to communicate science using drama-based activities, humour and storytelling.

This workshop will aim at the need for research communication to a non-expertise public and improve the research communication and languages skills to emphasize the beauty of the research.

This event is leading by Helena González-Burón, the director and co-founder of Big Van Science. Her job includes being a scientific-comedian, a science educator, a public communication skills trainer and a science writer. She has coordinated and implemented many science educational projects in Europe, Africa and Latin America.

She is the author of 12 science communication books for kids and teens, editor and writer in National Geographic and collaborator in the Spanish TV (TVE).
