PhD in Education, awarded Cum Laude with International Mention, with a focus on language teaching. He earned a degree in Education and a Master’s in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and other Modern Languages. His academic career has included teaching and research roles in diverse educational settings across countries such as Egypt, the United States, Peru, the United Kingdom, Slovenia and Spain. He is currently a AECID Teaching Fellow in Spanish at the University of Edinburgh and also collaborates with various postgraduate programs, where he teaches courses in his field of expertise and supervises dissertations. Jose is certified Spanish Teacher by the Instituto Cervantes, holding qualifications as a DELE examiner for all levels, SIELE instructor, AVE Global tutor, and he owns the recent DADIC certificate.
