Member of the Environment Committee
Carlos works as a lecturer in environmental engineering at the University of Glasgow and his research focuses on the impact of greenhouse gas emissions on the carbon footprint of water biotechnologies, especially N2O emissions. During his PhD and Postdoctoral projects at the Technical University of Denmark he worked on the design and operation of lab and full-scale environmental biotechnologies, and process optimization mechanistic models.
He has been an active member of SRUK.CERU since she moved to the country in 2022, and previously in the group for Spanish Researchers in Denmark (CED).
