Involvement in SRUK/CERU

After completing my undergraduate studies in Mathematics at the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU, I was awarded a Cambridge Trust scholarship and subsequently obtained my Master in Pure Mathematics at the University of Cambridge. I then moved to the University of Coimbra for my PhD studies, where I was part of the Algebra, Logic and Topology research group at CMUC.

After a brief period of time as a postdoc at the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU, I am now back in the UK as a postdoctoral researcher in the Theory Group at the University of Birmingham under the supervision of Professor Achim Jung. My research focuses on categorical, algebraic and foundational aspects of topology.

I happily joined SRUK/CERU in March 2023 and I am interested in science policy, and politics in general. I am also co-Lead of the Committee of Science Policy and Diplomacy at RAICEX.
