Involvement in SRUK/CERU

I am a Marie Curie Fellow based at Brunel University London, where my research focuses on developing algae-based biomaterials for sustainable packaging applications. This work aims to create environmentally friendly alternatives to conventional plastics, addressing pressing global challenges such as plastic pollution and resource depletion.

During my PhD at Brunel University, I specialised in the development of biobased foams designed for thermal insulation and cushioning in packaging applications. Building on this work, I continued to advance this research during my postdoc at the Southern University of Science and Technology in Shenzhen (China).
