Paula Milán-Rois is a Herchel Smith Postdoctoral Fellow (and incoming MSCA fellow) in the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Cambridge, specialising in the therapeutic targeting of oncogenic RNAs and the development of translational nanomedicine platforms. She is deeply committed to community building, currently leading the Cambridge RNA Club and chairing the Department of Biochemistry’s Postdoctoral Committee. Paula is passionate about fostering a sense of belonging and interdisciplinary collaboration, and she is particularly motivated to organise initiatives that support the personal and professional development of researchers, emphasising the importance of soft skills in career progression.
