Mireia Ginesta

Involvement in SRUK/CERU

Mireia is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Oxford Sustainable Law Programme and a Research Associate at Keble College. She holds a BSc in Physics and an MSc in Meteorology from the Universitat de Barcelona, and completed her PhD at Université Paris-Saclay, where she studied the influence of human-induced climate change on severe storms in Europe. At Oxford, Mireia applies her expertise in extreme weather event attribution to support climate litigation efforts, working to advance justice and accountability for climate-related impacts. She also serves as the Early Career Scientist Representative for the Nonlinear Processes Division of the European Geosciences Union
