Lucia Hernandez-Pena is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Psychology at the University of Cambridge, where her research focuses on social processing during adolescence. Lucia holds a BSc in Psychology from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, an MSc in Neuroscience and Mental Health from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and a PhD from a graduate programme between RWTH Aachen University (Germany) and the University of Pennsylvania (USA). Outside of her work, she enjoys arts and crafts and travelling. As part of the SRUK/CERU Cambridge Committee, she is committed to supporting the Spanish-speaking scientific community in Cambridge, addressing the challenges researchers face at different career stages in academia, fostering networking and securing sponsorship to support our community’s events.
