Judit graduated in Biotechnology at the Polytechnic University of Valencia in 2014. During her studies, Judit studied in the Autonomous University of Barcelona as part of a “Sicue/Séneca” scholarship.

She carried out her final year project in Helsinki (Finland), where she investigated the genetic contribution of psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia or anxiety. In 2015, Judit moved to London to study a M.Sc. in psychiatric genetics at King’s College London.

At the moment, Judit is doing a PhD at Queen Mary University of London under the supervision of Caroline Brennan. Her research is focused on the study of genetic factors that contribute to drug addiction and its commorbidity to other disorders such as anxiety and psychosis.

Judit became a member of SRUK/CERU in December 2014 and has been actively working in the Department of Online Community management since February 2015. She was the director of such Department from December 2015 to July 2017, and made important contributions in the development of a new website and the society’s social media visibility.
