Involvement in SRUK/CERU

I completed my degree in Biotechnology at Universitat de Barcelona in 2016, followed by two internships at University of Cambridge where I studied different mechanisms of resistance to viruses in flies. I did an MSc in Bioinformatics at Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (2017-2018) and even though I like bioinformatics, I did not want to leave the laboratory bench. In 2019 I moved to London, where I started my PhD at Imperial College London working on the development of genetic strategies to suppress populations of the main malaria mosquito in Africa.
