Scientific background: Eva is a postdoctoral researcher in the RNA-mediated mechanisms of disease at the Institute of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences at the University of Exeter Medical School. In 2015, she gained her PhD in Physiology from University of Zaragoza and then she moved to Prof Lorna Harries’ group to continue her scientific development. Nowadays she is working in understanding the global deterioration in cell function that occurs as we age. Her study focuses on the role of alternative messenger RNA processing and RNA regulation of genes involved in ageing.
