Involvement in SRUK/CERU

I studied Biochemistry in the University of Malaga and a Master’s Degree in Education afterwards, as I have always loved to teach and share science. I am currently a PhD student in the ICGS (Institute of Cancer and Genomic Sciences) at the University of Birmingham. My PhD Project is focus on understanding the regulation of DNA replication through ubiquitination. During my Degree I did two placements in the University of Birmingham, one in 2016 and another one in 2018 as an Erasmus student. Since then, I have participated in the events organized by CERU, where I have met really interesting people and learned a lot about other scientific fields and about the scientific career itself. That is why I have decided to formally become a member of CERU.
