Adrián is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Chemistry of the University of Oxford. His research focuses on strained small-ring reactivity, combining advanced organic synthesis with computational chemistry to develop new reactivity platforms and molecular scaffolds. Adrián obtained his PhD from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), where he worked on the synthesis, mechanistic studies, and biological applications of amino acid derivatives synthesised through multicomponent reactions, as well as on their use in stereoselective transformations. He later joined Aix-Marseille Université (France) as a CNRS postdoctoral researcher, focusing on atroposelective methodologies before moving to Oxford.
