We are thrilled to invite you to the SRUK/CERU Oxford Winter Talks, a perfect way to kick off the new year with an evening of fascinating science and community. Join us on Thursday, January 23rd at 7pm, at Wadham College Seminar Room 4 for an exciting lineup of outreach talks from brilliant researchers within our community.
The evening will feature three engaging 10-minute talks on a variety of impactful topics:
- Mikel Lavilla-Puerta, PhD – Much More Than Beer: Using Yeast to Understand Low Oxygen Responses
- Albert Fabregas Flavia, PhD – Engineering Microbes to “Fix” the Nitrogen Paradox
- Sara Maleubre Molinero, PhD – New and Old Challenges in Cosmology: A Tale Through Space and Time
After the talks, we will go to a central Oxford pub!
