Join #SRUKMidlands in Nottingham for the celebration
On the 11th of March #SRUKMidlands will visit the University of Nottingham to celebrate the International Women’s Day. For this special ocasion we’ll enjoy the company of four Social Sciences researchers. We’ll be able to learn about their research topics and the importance of these disciplines.
- Margarita Rubio (University of Nottingham, School of Economics): “Política monetaria y mercado de la vivienda”.
- Cristina Griffa (University of Nottingham, School of Economics): “Inflación: Cómo se origina y las herramientas que tiene el banco central para controlarla”.
- Betsabé De la Barreda-Bautista (University of Nottingham, School of Geography): “Impactos del cambio climático en ecosistemas y comunidades desde una perspectiva multitemporal en Belice”.
- Valeria Rueda (University of Nottingham, School of Economics): “El impacto del movimiento por el sufragio femenino sobre el comportamiento electoral de las mujeres”.
After these divulgative talks, we’ll have lunch together (not provided, place TBC) and learn interesting facts about the city through a free tour.
There are microgrants available for those members travelling to Nottingham (please, fill this form before the 10th of March). If you’re not a member of SRUK yet, this is your chance. More info here.
