We are holding the very first session of Intensos Anónimos (The Intense Anonymous) — a low-maintenance reading club for curious minds.

Intensos Anónimos isn’t your typical book club. By low-maintenance, we mean: no homework, no pressure, no need to read in advance, no long-term commitment. We’ll meet every month or two to read a short essay, a fictional short story, or even a classic scientific article — together, out loud. Then we will talk about it.

Never heard of the author? No idea what it’s about? No problem. Curiosity is your only requirement.

Whether you’re a seasoned reader or simply someone who loves to learn and chat, Intensos Anónimos is for you. Come to read, to listen, to discuss, to laugh, to think — and leave with something new.

First Session – In the context of the London Climate Action Week
For our very first gathering, joining the spirit of the London Climate Action Week, we will read Ursula K. Le Guin’s short story, The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas.

We’ll read it together — in English or Spanish, depending on the audience — and then open the floor for conversation.

🗓️ When: Saturday, 21st of June at 11:00 AM
📍 Where: The Peter Pan sculpture, Hyde Park
🥐 Extras: Feel free to bring some snacks if you’d like.

If you’d like to let us know you’re coming, you can join us by filling out the form below.

Come curious, leave more curious — and maybe a little wiser, too. See you there!

If you have any questions, feel free to write to us at [email protected]
