Teresa Rodriguez Muñoz

Teresa Rodriguez is currently reading MChem Chemistry with a year in Industry at Cardiff University and she expects to graduate in 2021. During her Industrial Placement year (2019-2020) she worked at Meiyume, a Korean cosmetics company, as a Laboratory Technician and Formulation Chemist. While working at Meiyume she developed a natural and organic brand extension consisting of five novel and innovative products complying with the COSMOS and Ecocert guidelines. Teresa is currently in the last year of her undergraduate degree and her thesis project is based on Computational Chemistry. Her research encompasses the study of VUIs (Voice User Interfaces) which allow the user to interact with a system through speech recognition and how to implement the famous Alexa VUI system to carry out quantum chemistry calculations using the software package developed by Prof. Knowles at Cardiff University. After graduation, she is looking forward to progressing her studies in this field and link her knowledge and skills to a future role in the aerospace industry.
