Mariona Cuello graduated in Spanish and English Philology with a minor in Italian from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. She subsequently completed a Master’s degree in Spanish as a Foreign Language in Professional Contexts (2013–2015) at the University of Barcelona. In 2014, she also obtained the Postgraduate Certificate in Secondary Education and Teacher Training at the University of Cumbria (Lancaster, United Kingdom).
This marked the beginning of her professional career in the field of language teaching and intercultural communication, where she has accumulated over a decade of experience in education and language training.
Between 2021 and 2022, driven by her interest in computational linguistics and artificial intelligence, she pursued a Master’s in Computational Linguistics, further complementing her specialisation with various technical certifications. During this period, she consolidated her professional focus on the development of solutions based on artificial intelligence and conversational technologies.
In 2023, she transitioned into the field of applied artificial intelligence and natural language processing, participating in international projects focused on conversational AI and multilingual experiences. She currently works in the development and management of conversational AI solutions, contributing to the creation of innovative, user-centred tools and the integration of language technologies in professional and educational environments.
