📅 Save the date! The Department of Equality, Diversity and Welfare at SRUK/CERU has partnered with the Portuguese Association of Researchers and Students in the UK (PARSUK) to bring together an expert panel on inequality and academia ―a key topic shaping today’s research landscape.
⚖️ Economic inequality remains one of the key drivers of social stratification, shaping access to, progression through, and participation in academia. This is even more so for researchers with caregiving responsibilities (overwhelmingly women) and from minoritised backgrounds.
🔎 This online event brings together researchers and academics from Spain, Portugal and the UK to share cutting-edge research and lived experiences. Together, we’ll reflect on the barriers and opportunities for building a more equitable academic landscape.
