Join the SRUK/CERU Neuroscience Committee in the celebration of the Brain Awareness Week 2025. This year, our event in Bristol will be focused on substance dependencies and behavioural addictions.
In our aim to raise awareness of the direct and indirect effects of addiction associated with various substances, gambling and social media we’ll have the support of Dr Marc Ten Blanco (School of Physiology, Pharmacology and Neuroscience, University of Bristol) and Dr Philip Newal (School of Psychological Sciences, University of Bristol).
Join us at the Robin Hood Pub on Friday the 14th of March at 5 pm to learn about neural circuits and genetic factors involved in addiction and individual’s susceptibility and strategies for overcoming these challenges. The event is free and open to everyone. Registration is not required.
If you have any doubts regarding the event, please do not hesitate and contact [email protected].
