Involvement in SRUK/CERU

Research Fellow, The University of Manchester (Department of Chemistry)

I earned my Bachelor of Chemistry at Universidad Complutense of Madrid in 2011. I then moved to Barcelona to carry out my Master studies on Chemical Science and Technologies at Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona. In 2012, I started my PhD studies in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy at Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona under the supervision of Dr Teodor Parella and Prof. Albert Virgili. In 2015, I joined Manchester NMR methodology group (University of Manchester) to do my postdoctoral research under the supervision of Prof. Gareth A. Morris.

In 2019, I was awarded with a prestigious Dame Kathleen Ollerenshaw Fellowship at the University of Manchester. This Fellowship provides me with the perfect opportunity to achieve full academic independence, building an internationally leading research group in this vibrant and collaborative research environment. Our current research focuses on the design of modern NMR methodologies and their application on chemical and biochemical studies.
