María Flórez Martín is a PhD student at University College London (UCL), focusing on discovering novel treatments for medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw. She relocated from Elche, Alicante to the UK in 2018 to pursue an integrated Master’s in Medical Sciences and Engineering, where she was honoured with a Dean’s List award. María joined SRUK/CERU in 2022 and has been an active member of the London Constituency ever since. She is passionate about interdisciplinary research and teaching in higher education. Outside of academia, she enjoys salsa dancing and any DIY project she can get her hands on.
