David Egea Arrebola

David Egea Arrebola obtained his degree in Chemistry in 2019 from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. In 2020, he obtained his master in Chemical Research from the same university. During this period, he worked in the development and synthesis of new photoswitches for the control of neuronal signalling under the supervision of Dr Félix Busqué. In September 2020, he moved to Oxford to start his predoctoral research. There, he works under the supervision of Professor Stephen Fletcher, University of Oxford, where he is currently working on the development of new metal-catalysed asymmetric reactions in the field of Organic Chemistry. Outside the lab, he enjoys playing chess and cooking. David joined SRUK/CERU during the summer of 2021.
