Patricia got her PhD in Chemistry (Organic and Polymer Chemistry) with European Doctorate Mention between the University of Zaragoza (Spain) and the Technical University of Denmark in 2007. Before this milestone she had acquired International and Industry exposure at P&G (Belgium) where she was selected to participate at its Internship Talent Programme, also she realised a replacement for 8 months at Philips (The Netherlands), mainly in the area of Liquid Crystalline Polymers. Since her PhD accomplishment, she has immediately started to work in Research field at Industry. She was working at Sabic as Process Chemist at Technology and Innovation Department, focused on High Performance Polymers. After some years she became Lead Scientist that was her last role before moving ahead to Zotefoams (London). Since February 2016 she has worked at Zotefoams Technical Department. Zotefoams is the world’s largest manufacturer of lightweight cross-linked polyolefin block foams and additionally sells and licenses high-performance products and cellular materials technology.

Along her Career experience she could have developed Technical skills as multivariate analysis, six sigma methodology, chemometrics, spectroscopy and calorimetry techniques, pilot plants leading among other ones. More mover other key soft skills as management, presentation impact, conflicts resolutions, project management, facilitation, business acceleration and mentoring are a part of her knowledge.

Besides, she has always showed an engagement with Academia participating in Material Sciences Symposium, Calorimetry Seminars and also leading cooperative Research Projects between Industry and University.

Added she obtained a Master of Finance Management in February 2014.
