The following year I completed the MRes Post-genomic Biology in the University of York, performing a project in experimental evolution supervised by Prof Brockhurst and another project in acute myeloid leukaemia in the LUMC (Leiden University Medical Centre) as Erasmus visiting student under supervision of Prof Veelken. Since October 2014 I am a PhD student in the Paul O’Gorman Leukaemia Research Centre (University of Glasgow) searching for new therapeutic targets in chronic myeloid leukaemia stem cells under supervision of Prof Holyoake.
