The Guide of the Spanish Researcher in the United Kingdom contains practical information for Spanish researchers who wish to work in the United Kingdom about general issues such as medical insurance, qualification recognition, job hunting, tax payment, etc. and about questions related to Brexit. In particular, the guide focuses on the British system of research and the researcher career in the UK, providing information about the PhD stage, funding sources and researcher professional development. Lastly, a collection of personal experiences of Spanish researchers in the academic and private sector may inspire the reader.

The Society of Spanish Researchers in the United Kingdom (SRUK/CERU) is one of the authors of this guide, together with the Embassy of Spain in the United Kingdom and the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT). The guide also benefited from the input of the British Council.
