Discussing one’s experiences and sharing opportunities with other members in the same situation is very useful for professional development.

For this reason, SRUK organises a number of specific peer-support groups (“Target networks”) that our members can join according to their interests. These networks are set up as private group discussion online. We also facilitate the face-to-face networking of their members during our events, particularly at the annual symposium.

In May 2017, we created our first Target Network, Junior Group Leaders, targeting recently become lecturers (or equivalent position). We set up a private discussion group online. To join the Junior Group Leaders Target Network, please write to roving@sruk.org.uk. and join our LinkedIn discussion group.

If at any moment you are interested in helping to set up other networks, please write to roving@sruk.org.uk.
