The Oxford constituency, with the sponsorship of the Ramón Areces Foundation, organized a conference in the Oxford Martin School about academic entrepreneurship with Javier García Martínez, professor of chemistry at the University of Alicante, expert in the use of nanotechnology in the energy sector and founder of the company Rive Technologies. Javier explained how to become an entrepreneur from the laboratory and gave some examples and routes to follow in order to balance the life in academia with the entrepreneur one. After the talk, the more than 50 attendees enjoyed a lively discussion.
