SHARE

The Society of Spanish Researchers in the UK (SRUK) is pleased to invite you to the Award Ceremony of “Science me a story”, our very first contest of short scientific stories for children. This initiative has aimed to promote the use of short stories and tales as a tool to communicate science for children. This first edition has been a great success with more than 40 stories submitted!

On the 6th of October we will celebrate the Award Ceremony at Instituto Cervantes Manchester (M3 4FN) to meet and honour the winners for the Spanish and English categories.

The ceremony will be preceded by a Mini Storying Workshop driven by Dr Mariana Casale (The Reading Rooms), where you will have the chance to immerse in the pleasure of reading as well as trying your hand at creative writing. This will be the best possible end for this initiative.

The event is FREE and open to anyone, no need to be Spanish or researcher to join us. Book your ticket to attend here.

We are looking forward to see you there!
