Roundtable: What does BREXIT mean for Research?

SHARE

As you are aware, the UK will depart from the European Union on March 29th 2019. This is going to be a crucial moment for everyone living in this country.

From the EU referendum back in 2016, we have long discussed the impact of Brexit in research. From SRUK/CERU, we have worked hard to gather information and feed evidence to the British government and groups of influence with the aim to make a difference in the so-called final deal. Now, with the negotiations well under way, it is time to move forward and learn about those agreements that will drive the research system through Brexit.

We are pleased to announce the roundtable event “What does Brexit mean for research?”, that will take place on Thursday the 25th October 2018 at the Francis Crick Institute in London.

This event is free to attend and everyone is welcome. However, due to the high relevance of the topic, we anticipate a large audience and therefore registration is required. Microgrants are available for members, please see below for more information.
