As part of the activities commemorating the International Day of Women and Girls in Science (11th of February), the SRUK Cambridge constituency is pleased to present the third edition of “Mum, I want to be a Scientist“, this year to be held as a webinar.

Four distinguished women, from a variety of fields, will talk about their research and their scientific paths. The speakers include:
- Jasminka Boskovic: Head of Electron Microscopy unit, Spanish National cancer Research Center (CNIO)
- Iris Luz Batalha: Co-founder and Director at Women Ahead of Their Time
- Iria Sala: recently-graduated PhD student in Oceanography, University of Cadiz and Institute of Marine Sciences of Andalusia (ICMAN-CSIC)
- Joanne Durgan: Senior Post-doc, Babraham Institute
Presentations will be followed by a Q&A session to address the challenges and improvements of gender equality in sciences.
