El Enigma Agustina

· London

The SRUK London constituency is pleased to present this free to attend CineScience International Premiere of El Enigma Agustina.

Join us on the screening of this documentary, where we will follow the adventures of a History PhD student who is trying to solve the enigma of Agustina Ruiz Dupont. Who was she? Why was her PhD thesis hidden in a lost palace in Spain? Why did Albert Einstein and Marie Curie write letters to her? And more importantly, why was she erased from History? Her research will lead us through the most relevant scientific achievement in Europe in the first decades of the 20thcentury.

The film screening will be followed by a discussion with the directors of the film.

The film production was supported by the Science and Technology Spanish foundation (FECYT) and the Astrophysics Institute of Andalucia (IAA-CSIC).

This event has been kindly sponsored by FECYT, University College London (UCL) and Instituto Cervantes London.
