As part of the activities commemorating the International Day of Women and Girls in Science (11th of February), the SRUK Cambridge constituency is pleased to present this free event in collaboration with Hughes Hall Postdoctoral Researchers’ Group.

Four distinguished women scientists, from a variety of fields, will talk about their research and their path to science. The speakers include:
– Nancy Lane: Department of Zoology, University of Cambridge, Athena Project Chair and former WiSETI director
– Benedicte Sanson: Reader in Developmental Morphogenesis, University of Cambridge
– Maria Eugenia Herva Moyano: group leader in Neuroscience, Charles Rivers Laboratories
– Amita Ummadisingu: Cavendish Laboratory, Swiss National Science Foundation Fellow
Presentations will be followed by Q&A with the audience to address challenges and improvements around gender equality in the sciences. Drinks and nibbles will be provided afterward.
