I received my PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Alicante (Spain) in 2012. After a two years postdoctoral position with Prof Carmen Claver (Tarragona, Spain) working on the immobilization and recycling of organometallic catalysts, I was awarded a fellowship which allowed me to join the laboratory of Prof. Alexei Lapkin (Cambridge, UK) where I expanded my flow chemistry skills. In 2017, I moved to work on a multidisciplinary project involving electrosynthesis and biocatalysis in flow at the University of Manchester (Prof. Michael Greaney and Prof. Nicholas Turner).

In 2019, I began a new role as Research Fellow in the Future Biomanufacturing Research Hub. My research interest is addressed to the development of biotransformations of industrial interest under continuous flow, including multi-eznymatic cascades and the establishment of general protocols for enzyme immobilization.

Apart of that, I love literature, travelling, music and human rights.
